'The Sketching Space Sessions' is a collection of recording sessions and demos created over the course of a month that entail a transition in the sound of Husk Oscillations to a more present, experimental and melodic tone, with an ongoing reflection on the physics and code of the universe. Tracks like 'The Sun Rises' reflect the improvisational technique of Husk, drawing from the chaotic beauty of nature. Other tracks like 'M 0 M 3 N T S' are focused on creating a space and depth that suck in the listener like a massive body in space, with a satisfying improvised melody. The final track, 'Mantras' entrances the listener, travelling melodically as a more traditional folk tune, with the primary usage of a looper pedal, and multiple instruments layered on top of guitar including trumpet, a Tibetan singing bowl, and MIDI percussion, all creating the orchestral sound to close out the album as a whole. Influences include Mount Eerie, the Microphones, Johanna Warren, Bon Iver, Karl Blau, Cassandrah Jenkins, The Durutti Column, etc.
